Today I spent a day with Maddy - well actually last night too. She slept in my bed since Papa was away at camp cos it was just easier - silly me! Have you ever shared a bed with a 4 year old? Dave would never allow the girls into our bed cos he didn't want to start a habit we might have to break. All I can say is I got very little sleep with all the pushing and shoving going on so NEVER again!
What is always nice though is sharing breakfast together. When the grandkids come over they usually get plenty to eat whatever the meal. Here's Maddy enjoying the jam on her toast - apparently they don't have toast in her house cos mummy never has time for toast AND cereal.
