.......and here's my effort
It's not quite what I had invisaged when I started out but it's sweet enough and I needed a card for sending so I'm happy with it. I guess I still have spring on my mind with all the pretty colours on my work desk at the moment plus I'm exploring the possibilities of that 'nesty' die right now too.
Hopefully you can see all the lovely 3D from this shot. I used 3 sets of WM stamps in this project and some of the stamping is quite subtle like the long plaid stamp on the pink strip imitating woven ribbon (the flowers and leaves came from this set too) plus I used the new 'bitty bunting' and a sentiment from the 'frame it' set.
And I decided to 'dig deep' into old craft equipment and found a punch that fit the larger flower stamp - not quite perfect but almost so I can live with that - plus a smaller one that I used on the centre stamp. This is actually the same stamp as on the outer edges but it looks completely different with this flower punch - kinda swirly.
Then because I can't 'faff about' (maybe that should be 'won't') with teeny tiny gems I used liquid pearls to add tiny centres. Anything else would've covered up the details but the pearl beads are a sweet touch too.
And since this card is maybe 4" x 4" wide (or there abouts) I have decided to use one of my hand-made square envelopes. I try to teach these every now and then and I always advise taking an evening or two to make up several to have on hand. I keep mine in a basket marked 'envelopes & card blanks' which is easy to grab whenever I need one. A little bit of envelope glue to seal it and you'd never know it wasn't a purchased envelope!
Actually it's prettier because there's a very subtle floral detail on this paper when you catch it in the light. This one's going into the 4.5 square envelope and getting sent off asap.
Well that's me done for this week's challenge. Hope you enjoy!
Hugs
Suezie

Oooh I know that feeling that a card doesn't turn out as you thought.
Your card looks great though. It has a very fresh and springy look which I love. Good job.
Have a great day,
Jose
