I don't know why we keep this old rocking chair in the sitting room - it doesn't really fit but the kids like it. Usually they fight like crazy to be the only one in it but on this occasion Kaleb & Maddy had settled down nicely together to watch TV. They usually hug the heater since it's nice and warm and rock back and forth but they weren't moving a muscle!
These shots were taken after they had a bath and got into their PJs.
Thank goodness we have two couches - one for each. Zach isn't usually too late home from club but by the time 8.00pm rolled around coupled with a busy day at school these two were completely pooped out - me too!
After having cooked dinner, washed dishes, given them a bath and then settled them down with blankets and pillows it was nice just to sit and watch them sleeping peacefully. And don't they look sweet.
Sometimes all the effort really is worth it.
