Card Patterns

I have been having kind of a lazy craft day today. Hubby spent the morning at the allotment getting more veggies in the ground and I still hadn't done my next PT project.

I needed inspiration so I decided to have a go with the Card Patterns latest sketch to get me in the mood. This is the first time I have joined in the fun over at Card Patterns.

Here's the sketch I had to work from.

This is my effort on the sketch. I know this PTI stamp has been around for quite a while but I never got around to ordering it until last Christmas. I decided to use it for the first time today. I see this stamp design crop up time and time again and after just one go I can see why. I love it.

Here's a slightly more close up shot of it. I love to stamp on patterned papers. My only complaint is the shade of green for the ribbon. I know I had the same ribbon in exactly the same shade as the leaves but I guess maybe I used it all up and didn't replace it. Don't ya just HATE when that happens!

After this I moved on to my Project Tuesday item but of course I can't share that until Tuesday so you'll just have to check back.
