Quick Paper Pricking Tutorial

I saw this idea recently on the net somewhere (sorry can't remember where or I'd give credit for it) but I figured I would never find plastic canvas easily here in the UK. I was wrong!

I bagged this beauty just today along with some pretty ribbon (and even some brand new fabric from a charity store).
Here's how it works:

Use a punch or die-cut to cut your circle. Place it on a mouse mat or foam pad.

Next position the plastic canvas circle on top and line up as closely as possible to the nearest matching circle size. Begin piercing in each square with a pokey tool.

When you're finished you end up with a perfectly aligned circle of pierced holes. How cool is that? Better still I only paid 40p for my newest piece of craft equipment!

This is very neat... This would also work really well if you want to make a perfect circle on a square piece...that would look very talented indeed! Thanks for sharing!
