Bind It All

I can't believe I have had this machine for almost an entire year and I've only just used it.
It was something I treated myself to for my birhtday last year thinking I HAD TO HAVE ONE - like you do when you're a crafter. I have been meaning to use it - honest!
Well I finally found a reason to put it to good use.

Remember that cool book I got with my Michael's gift card? Well it had a series of cards in the back that you could punch out and store in a box, the idea being that you could choose a page map, take the card to the store and use it to shop for just what you needed.
I wasn't crazy about keeping them in a box - too easy to loose one if you take it out and forget to put it back. I decided I could bind the cards together to create a cute 'mini' version of the book for tucking into my craft bag and taking along with me. As it happend I had to split the cards up into 2 mini books (my binding wasn't large enough and I only had the one size) but that still works.
For anyone who doesn't know what a 'Bind It All' can do - I'm tellin ya - this baby can go through CDs, chipboard, metal - all kinds of stuff. Ever seen the lisence plate albums made with real lisence plates? Yep - this machine will do that. Even better - while I was on holiday stateside I discovered Zutter made a corner rounder too. Now I think maybe I'll start using this machine more since I much prefer rounded corners.
I have some recipe book projects I want to tackle this year so both these tools just may pay for themselves by the time I'm done.
