Of course I couldn't spend any money - at least not my own - so I helped her spend some of hers and we got some really cool papers and stuff for the shop. Best of all I get to play, design and teach with some of it! I am sooooooooo excited and I just know many of you will love the designs too.
I sat for a few minutes at one of the stands and chalked an embossed frame as a 'make 'n' take' and this is what I created with it this morning before going to work.

I added a subtle pink gingham paper to a card blank and a scrap of green in the centre. I tied a couple of pieces of checkered ribbon in similar colours around the frame and then I adhered the frame to the background using foam pads. I used that leaf spray I love so much from Sizzix and curled the leaves and then traced the flower using the clear flower diecuts from Paper Trey Ink. I added a friendship greeting to finish it.
It was a bit rushed (I don't really have time to play in the morning when I should be getting ready for work!) but I'd love the chance to play some more with these frames to see what else I can create when I do have time!
I plan to give it to Amanda as a 'thank you' for taking me along. I enjoyed spending the day with her and getting to know her better.

My prayers are with you and your sister right now. Look after each other.
