WOW!

I finally gave in to requests and took a few of my handmade cards into work to sell and guess what? Today I made £8 ! I am only selling them for 1 round pound per card because it seemed a fair price. I sell them for more at country market but they take a small cut when they sell and besides I am only really offering them to friends, family and fellow bloggers.

Anyone intersted?

I'm going to create a new link 'like it - own it' and add it to the category list so that when I make a few cards that I'm happy to reproduce and sell, anyone interested can contact me with a view to buying one.

Some cards I make are a one off but I have made special request cards before like this one for a friend who was about to become a grandmother.

The front opened (where the bow ties) to reveal a poem that she had written. Truth was she was trying to out do the other expectant grandma (in-law) who always went a bit OTT - sorry Pauline if you're reading this 'over the top'. The giraffes were stamped onto vellum which was laid over polka dot paper. The gender of the baby wasn't yet known hence the colour scheme.

These ones above are some of the ones I took in for sale (they have crystal dots in the centre of the bigger flowers) and these ones below as well.

Love this ladybug design using my new papertrey stamps. I ordered a few more this week and am desperately awaiting the next release so watch this space for new designs! It doesn't show here but I have glittered the centre of the smaller flowers for added detail. Quote says 'a happy life is made of little things'.

These are a bit more modern - kinda 'funky' but cute. Again the picture doesn't really do these justice. All cards are lined - I would NEVER dream of giving an unlined card! They are left blank inside but the messages on the outside range from: friend, hello, thank you - happy birthday, celebrate, gratitude & beautiful. If I have a stamp for it I can do it.
