Good Exercise!

Since we had the boys for the day a few weekends ago we decided to take them out and enjoy the sunshine - something we haven't had too much of this year!

I had a class in the morning so we couldn't go too far due to limited time but we made it to High Lodge in the Thetford forest for a picnic.

The boys decided they wanted to go for a bike ride and while I wasn't too sure (I've been known to actually fall off bikes) we agreed to give it a go.

We discovered that Kaleb falls off bikes too - he hasn't figured out how to stop using the brakes and went crashing sideways to the ground every time he had to stop. Good job boys are tough.

We took the short 1 hour route which actually took us 1 hour and 15 minutes because we had to keep picking Kaleb back up! Secretly I was glad to stop and rest each time we did. Nothing like a bike ride to show you just how out of shape you are.

Afterwards we let the boys burn off a bit more energy in the activity area.

It was a great day out and we must remember to do it again next summer.

I've included this photo simply because I love taking shots of the boys from behind. I love their smiling faces but I also love these kind of shots. They were waiting patiently for a turn on the rope swing and enjoying watching the other kids as they took their turn.
