Sweetest Bo Bunny!

I just have to share some quick snapshots of the sweetest Bo Bunny papers and stickers yet. I could see a whole host of Maddycakes pages using these. I would lurve to teach a scrapbooking class with some of these but for now I'd settle for gettin another look at them.

I was busy demonstrating yesterday so I only managed to grab a quick snapshot of them in the racks right before we left. I'd have loved to pull them out and spread them on a table top so I could mix them up and see what wonderful ideas came to mind. I have way too much to do this week already so it will have to wait but Jess is coming to stay on Friday so something tells me we might get crafty by the weekend (hopefully).

This is the range of stickers that accompany the papers - aren't they cute? I can definately see Valentine's Day projects just looking at these. Honestly Christmas not yet here and gone and my heads filling up with Valentine's just lookin at these!

The matching papers just look absolutely yummy! They remind me of ice creams and cupcakes too. A cute little basket filled with heart shaped cookies covered in pink frosting and sweeties - oh my minds running a muck even as I type!

I think it would be a challenge to do boy pages with these but not impossible. I get some lovely hugs from the boys and we're a really loving family - I think I could do it (maybe?).

I'm lovin the extra sheets with alphabets and embellishments. I like to make my own usually but every now and then I cave!

Don't ya just love the cute little critters and pretty flowers? They'd make the prettiest boxes.

And then as if all that wasn't enough they go and get positively scrumptious with scallops and curves and dotty hearts (love, love, love dots!). I think the almost 'bandana' style paper in the top of this shot is super cute too but don't miss the little pink honey bee at the bottom - isn't he adorable.

I am hoping that Dave and I are off out for the day but Dave hasn't yet decided if we're playing hookie from church - he's the driver so it's up to him really. He was such a sweetheart yesterday while I was away all day, got every bit of laundry done (must've missed fabric softener in one load as I finished it off in the dryer this morning and it has CLING!) but I'm not sayin anything. He even cut up and roasted an absolutely MASSIVE pumpkin Vicky's neighbour had given her just so he could mash it, freeze it and we could have pumpkin throughout the winter months. Can't stand it myself but HE loves it.

I'm hoping he wants a day off today so we can get out for a drive but I'll have to wait and see - right now he's makin me breakfast. Am I spoilt or what? He's way too good to me sometimes.

One Page Down - Two to Go

Well I finally got my photos printed and finished the page of my girls at a photo shoot a couple of years back. I didn't like the black and white shots so I got sepia coloured ones but then found I wasn't sure about them either. Finally I got them in colour and decided I liked the colour shots best on the page after all. The santa hat just wasn't doing it without the vibrant red.

I added a bit more text and used the Craftwork Cards 'faux brads' for the holly berries. These are a little known craft item but they're great. I used most of my buttons playing with WM's holly stamp but no worries as these worked really well instead. The page fits perfectly in the frame and now all I have to do is make one more for the girls plus a copy for me so we'll all have one.

I really enjoyed doing this page and I sooooo hope the girls like the end result. I left the page on display in Amanda's shop for a week or two as Jess is coming home later this week and I don't want her to stumble across it. Like me she is a crafter and liable to raid through my craft room while she's here. I think it's far safer where it is for the time being

A Day At Mildenhall

Today I had a 5.30 am rise so I could be ready for an early start as I had offered to go help Amanda at her newest shop. She had her opening day today and I had agreed to demo. She decided to close the Norwich shop and just have the Bury shop plus a new one on USAF Mildenhall. This means she has an entirely different market selling to many American crafters living here in the UK while serving in the armed forces.

I have loads of pictures to share so first I'll share the shop and then maybe a few posts with new products and demo samples.

This is the view looking into the shop from outside. I thought it was really cute and a nice managable size too.

Of course it wouldn't be a craft store without all the jewellery making supplies too and just look at all these yummy colours!

It was encouraing that so many people commented on how pleased they were to finally be able to get more jewellery making supplies at last. I think these beads will be just as popular as they are in the Bury store.

Since her mum Kay teaches jewellery making classes and also makes some there is of course ready made jewellery gift items for sale too.

I got to meet Jo who sometimes works for Amanda which was nice. I can see why Amanda likes her she was such a sweetie and I felt like we got along real well. I will look forward to seeing her again (and I must remember I said I'd make her a card).

Of course there were lots of other craft supplies too. It was kinda beading on one side and papercrafting on the other. Amanda had a really good selection of Sizzix dies, embossing folders and some great stamps too.

As usual she had a good selection of papers including my favourite 'Cosmo Cricket' designs. She also had some 'oh so cute' Bo Bunny that I will share later. I didn't get to demo with that today though (shame).

Although we are not allowed to shop in the stores on base we can at least shop in the food court so next time I go I'm definately coming back with something from 'Cinnabon'. For now I settled with a bag of cheese Cheetos which I just love!
