A Little R & R (well almost)

I had planned on getting a little R & R this weekend but I ended up entertaining the grandkids for a Sunday roast - I almost NEVER cook a Sunday roast! Can't imagine what I was thinking. I should have known better.


Having the grandkids over always involves lots of work, noise, mess and a lot of people in our VERY small house. How did we ever manage to raise 2 teenagers here? Beats me but we did.

Anyhow besides all the work cooking and all the messy dishes I always get left with we actually managed to have some fun when we played Simpsons Monopoly (or M'op-lee as maddy calls it).

Maddy may not be too good at playing the game but she can sure throw the dice alright!!

It might've been busy, noisy and chaotic but it was actually nice to have kids in the house for a change.

Board Album

I have to confess I was not at my best this weekend because I was really tired. I would've loved to have had more time and energy to have finished this board album some more but there's never enough time when yhou're demo-ing to finish anything completely.

I could have gotten really into this project I think.

Especially as it featured one of my favourites subjects - Maddybabes!

You only have to mention the word 'princess' and that's it. She tells you all about how she's a princess.

Like I said I barely had time to scratch the surface but hopefully now that I have a break in my way too busy schedule I can begin to get creative again just for the sheer pleasure of it.

I know a couple of you are bugging me to post something new so I just wanted to say I will - promise!

We got a new computer today and it took wuite some time to get it all set up and get back on line since we had to completely upgrade EVERYTHING. I still haven't managed to get the printer working!

I have a couple of things ready to post but everything is real new to me right now so I just have to figure it all out. Hopefully I'll post tomorrow evening so check back ok.
